I have always sketched and painted a variety of subjects from local landscapes to the literally hundreds of sketches and finished presentation drawings of vehicle interiors and exteriors completed during my career as a professional automotive designer.  I have been developing these unique images for Automotive Images over the last five years, harnessing my passion for art with the latest digital techniques being used within the industry, to create this new and exciting visual style for my automotive art.  Based on hand sketches, photos and reference material gathered from the latest motor shows and classic car events, an initial image is sketched or painted.  The image is then imported into the latest graphics programmes and further developed into the final images shown here.  This modern approach is completed by using the latest finishing techniques to produce unique prints on acrylic and aluminium panels as well as more traditional canvas wraps and Gliclee quality prints of fine art paper, to complement the most modern of interiors.

With over 20 years in the automotive design business, I have been involved in a number of production and concept cars of recent years, including work with Lotus Cars, MG Rover, GM Advanced Design, Proton Cars, Isuzu, GM Holden Australia and a number of leading consultancies.

Whilst at Lotus Cars, I had a leading role in the design for the Lotus Elise Mk1 and the concept design for Elise V6 coupe that later became the Lotus Exige.

Having recently spent a year at Aston Martin I am currently working for Jaguar in their design studios in Whitley, Coventry.
