Automotive Images has been set up in order to bring to market these unique images (go to Gallery) created by Andrew Hill. He has always sketched and painted a variety of subjects from local landscapes to the literally hundreds of sketches and finished presentation drawings of vehicle interiors and exteriors completed during his career as a professional automotive designer. Andrew has been developing these images over the last five years, harnessing this passion for art with the latest digital techniques being used within the industry, to try and create this new and exciting visual style for his automotive art. Based on hand sketches, photos and reference material gathered from the latest motor shows and classic car events, an initial image is sketched or painted. This is then imported into the latest graphics programmes and further developed into the final images shown here. This modern approach is completed by using the latest finishing techniques to produce the black edged block mounts, canvas wraps or acrylic prints to compliment the most modern of interiors.

With over 20 years in the automotive design business Andrew Hill has been involved in some of the most memorable production and concept cars of recent years, including work with Lotus Cars, MG Rover, GM Advanced Design, Proton Cars, Isuzu, GM Holden Australia and a number of leading consultancies.

Whilst at Lotus Cars he had a leading role in the design for the Lotus Elise Mk1 and the concept design for Elise V6 coupe that later became the Lotus Exige.
